When we woke up on the morning of 16th July 2012 we never thought we would be witnessing such a dreadful day. As scheduled Pak Challengers were to face a local team. Match started at 5:00 pm local time. Toss was won by Sheroze Ali and elected to bat first. Suleman and Fahad Dawood were debuting for Challengers. Challengers dominated the game from the very first ball. Openers Suleman and Moheed opened very well for the team. The local team struck first when they got Moheed. Awais Ahmed was next. No one could think what was to happen next. Awais and Suleman pushed the score to 130 in just 6 overs. Awais then declared his innings retired hurt. Sheroze Ali then pushed the score 180 along with Suleman who hit the pavillion's bench at 97*. Challengers made 180 in 12 overs.
Start for the local team was one of the most dreaded starts. Maaz Siddique who opened the innings for the challengers struck in the very first over. And later created a chance which was not executed very well by Saad Mahmood who was behind the wickets. Then things got heated up between the teams sooner. Things got more worse when both the former captains collided. Saad Mahmood(Challengers) and Adeel(Local Team) both had a go at each other. Sheroze and Awais then got sucessive wickets in two overs. Later Saad Mahmood produced a brilliant over giving only 2 runs and taking 2 wickets. Waleed ,bowling for the challengers for the first time ever got the big fish taking Usman's wicket. Suleman bowled the 11th over as this was supposed to be the last over due to bad light. And Pak Challengers won by 76 runs. But wait a second, the real action was about to start. As Anwar(Local Team) surprisingly attacked the Challengers opener Suleman. As a result Suleman got bruised. Challengers were raged. They wanted revenge and they couldnt stop for long. As a result Ethisham(Local Team Captain) said that his team wont be walking in the ground for the rest of the series. As a result Pak Challengers have officially registered their first series win. Pak Challengers Committee have confirmed this series win. Saad Mahmood's twitter words were quite raging.
Sheroze Ali also had a verbal go at the team "I cant tolerate some one going at my mate.Specially that is someone who has been such help to us in such difficult time." Where does this lead us to? No one has a answer to it. Will this rivalry go any further? Well time is the best teacher.....
