Riyadh:Pak Challengers defeats End Zone XI by 52 runs in a nail bitting contest.Endzone XI won the toss and elected to field first which rather proved a costly decision.From the very first over it looked like a rather one sided game.First over bowled by Naeem went for 23 runs with a flurry of extras.Then Endzone boys managed to get a breakthrough at the score of 85 when Sohaib Uz Zaman played a uppish drive which directly went into the hands of the fielder at long on.But then skipper Adil Zafar and Moiez haider went to build over an partnership of 143 runs.Then Dilshad the skipper got a break through by getting Adil Zafar by beauty delievery.Then Moiez Haider went on to play a beautiful innings but unluckily played a loose straight drive at the score of 99.He was given standing oviation by the players on returning to the pavallion.At the end of the innings Pak Challengers set up a score of 224 at the loss of 5 wickets.
Endzone boyz made a positive start to the innings,but the lost a wicket when skipper Adil Zafar made him to play with beauty which was caught in the deep by Sohaib Uz Zaman.Then some wonders overs were bowled by Fareed Alam which went for some edges but wicket keeper Mustafa failed to execute it.Moiez Haider then struck for the challengers when Endzone were looking good.The leggie Saad Mahmood then backed a wicket for the challengers when Maaz took a beauty catch in the covers.Though Endzone boyz provided a little resistance when Abdullah Waqar over went for 26 runs.But Adil and Fareed struck in consecutive overs.As a result Pak Challengers won by 52 runs.Man Of The Match-Moiez Haider.
